PhD STUDENT

About me…
My focus is set on understanding how lichen communities from extreme ecosystems -mainly polar and alpine- survive and prosper under harsh environmental conditions. I resource to ecophysiological and biomolecular techniques in order to assess their functional, taxonomic and phylogenetic diversity.

Research lines
– Functional ecology and ecophysiology
– Liquenology
– Biodiversity assessment and monitoring
